We thought we would end the year by celebrating with you and sharing snapshots of how your prayers and financial investment have had a tangible impact on the UW Campus and the World! Your prayers and financial gifts made possible: Summer 2006 A week of training and preparation for the staff and students coming in to the year, including leading scripture study, evangelism training, worship, and prayer. You helped us lay a foundation for what God was going to do this year!
October New student outreach to hundreds of students in the dorms and across campus. You allowed us to provide free food for them, help them feel loved, and get students plugged into Christian community or interested in Jesus!
November Fall Conference where students lives were transformed as they experienced God's love more deeply as the Prodigal Father.
December Students called in new directions at Urbana Missions Conference, including overseas missions work, urban ministry with the poor, and advocacy for those affected by the AIDS crisis worldwide. Your partnership gave scholarships to students who otherwise would not have been able to attend!

January A weekly GIG (God Investigative Group) attended by 4 non-Christian students. Your investment gave them access to Scripture and to ponder Jesus for the first time. They studied scripture for an entire year!
February Time spent in serious visioning and listening prayer to determine where God was leading our fellowship. God called us to be a light on campus by stewarding our love for service, justice, and being present in the dorms!
March Students challenged at Love Actually to fully place their lives in God's hands and commit to healthy relationships with both men and women. Your investment saw 3 students enter the Kingdom!
April A prayer vigil for Virginia Tech in the middle of Red Square. Your partnership allowed us to minister to the campus at large and help several non-Christian students be exposed to the light of Jesus.
May InterVarsity students succeeding in selling 2,000 orange "Orphan" shirts on campus, and impacting thousands more students with awareness around the AIDS pandemic. Your partnership raised up hundreds of student advocates and helped over 20 children in Africa

become sponsored through World Vision.
June 30 atheist students attending an event co-sponsored by InterVarsity and the Secular Student Union (SSU). These students listened to Christian leader Jim Henderson speak about how he "won Hemant
Mehta's soul on eBay" and on who Jesus really is and what following him is all about. They were intrigued and respected Jim immediately for his candidness and humility.
Your investment funded and promoted this event for the SSU as they had no funds of their own. They were deeply grateful.
Summer 2007 Support and training for our students to go on summer projects all over the world including: Tacoma, Uganda, India, Malaysia, China, Ghana!
We have once again raised 100% of our annual budget. Your investment in the ministry of InterVarsity at UW has truly born some incredible eternal fruit! PRAISE GOD and THANK YOU for your generous support of the ministry!
