We are doing a new thing this year. There will be two plenary sessions, and the rest of the time conference attendees will break into one of five tracks. What sounds like how you would like to spend your weekend?
Below are your options (you'll be asked to choose one of these during registration.) :
Deep Calls to Deep: Intimacy with God
Jesus says "The Kingdom of God is near." So why do we often feel that God is distant? How do we experience more of his love and presence? This track offers practical experience and hands-on teaching in developing, practicing, and sustaining intimacy with God. As we seek God, we discover his revolutionary purposes for our lives.
International Students Track
For international students. Come have the American experience of volunteer service to those in need. Informal discussion will follow to evaluate our experience. Should we care for the needy in our society? What can we learn about mercy and justice from Jesus? NOTE: the first 30 international students to sign up will receive a $50 scholarship for the conference.
Evangelize with your Ears
Tired of trying to do evangelism that doesn’t work? Tired of trying to convert people instead of loving them? So are we! Come revolutionize the way you serve people by learning to listen: Listen to God, Listen to yourself, Listen to others. Track will include a panel Q&A and actual experiences in listening.
